Newsworthy

Before graduating this May and receiving her degree in economics, Ava Sandoval has already secured a full-time position at JP Morgan Chase, one of the most competitive and prestigious firms in the finance industry. Her achievement reflects not only her early preparation and strategic networking but also the strength of LSU’s academic and professional development resources.

Over spring break, Ourso College graduate students swapped their usual BEC classrooms for dynamic international settings, embarking on immersive experiences designed to broaden their understanding of the global business landscape. Students from multiple programs traveled together to Europe (Germany & Hungary) or South America (Argentina), while the Master of Accountancy cohort explored the heart of Central America (Costa Rica).

The Center for Community Engagement, Learning, and Leadership (CCELL), in conjunction with LSU Campus Life, is pleased to announce that 44 seniors will graduate with the Engaged Citizen Program (ECP) medal and distinction for Spring 2025. This is the largest cohort of ECP graduates to date. Three E. J. Ourso College of Business students are among this year's honorees.
