Geaux Graduate Closet

LSU Staff Senate is organizing and sponsoring a graduation regalia rental program where staff graduating from LSU can rent regalia for their commencement ceremony. We are asking alumni to donate the regalia, and the closet will be housed in Hatcher Hall.

We will begin first by accepting donations of gowns, hoods, and caps for all degree levels and majors. Donations will be accepted July 1-11 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hatcher Hall front desk. No appointments necessary. Please ensure that your regalia has been cleaned prior to donating.

Once the donations have been inventoried, a link will be made available for staff to request the size/type for their specific needs. Rentals will be first come, first serve. We may not have all sizes/types available, so if a size/type is not available, the staff member will need to contact the LSU Bookstore to purchase regalia.

After requesting regalia via the link, staff can pick up regalia August 4-8 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hatcher Hall front desk.

This service will be free, but renters are expected to return the regalia cleaned and in a timely manner. Returns should be made August 18-22 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Hatcher Hall front desk.
