  • Data visualization
  • Video editing

Make an appointment with a coach

Studio 151 is equipped with a variety of communication technologies to help you practice your skills and bring your projects to life. Here are some of the options available to you:

  • Audio/Visual Project Consultations: Coaches with specialized A/V training can help you determine what kind of equipment you need for your project and skill level. They'll even walk you through how to use what you need.
  • Photo Documentation: Do you have a physical project, artwork, model, etc. that needs to be photographed? Schedule a time to use the Photo Documentation space and capture high-quality photos of your work.
  • Presentation Practice: Get some practice before you stand in front of your audience. Whether you present with your group or get feedback from a coach, there are several spaces to help you get the nerves out and work on your delivery.
  • Flatbed Scanning: Digitize your sketches, studies, drawings and more.
  • 3D Printing: Bring your ideas from the digital page to life as a small-scale model or prototype.
    • Note: There is a charge associated with this service to pay for supplies. 3D Printing is by appointment only.
  • Soundbooth Recording: Can't find a quiet place to work on your voiceover or podcast assignment? We've got a quiet soundbooth with no distractions waiting for you. Schedule a time to record and we'll walk you through the process.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud Workstations: Whether you need to edit a photo or video, work on a layout, or create a logo, we've got the full suite of Adobe programs available on four workstations.

Unless otherwise noted, appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

With the exception of 3D printing, everything in this space is available for LSU students to use at no cost. The charge for 3D printing is only to cover the cost of supplies.

schedule your appointment through WCOnline

Our scheduling system is called WCOnline. You can set up an account using your myLSU credentials.

Once you're logged in, you can choose from several options to choose the type of session you need from the main page or by clicking the Schedules dropdown menu.

On the Schedule page, you can continue to choose options depending on what you need, including the coach you want to meet, the type of coaching you're seeking, and the type of meeting.

Availability is color-coded. White indicates an open-appointment slot, red indicates a booked appointment, and dark blue indicates the coach is unavailable. Click the white box for the appointment slot you want to select.

After you choose the time you want to meet, you'll see a pop-up window asking for additional information about your session. This helps us prepare before we meet with you and better understand what you're hoping to achieve. The more information you're able to provide, the better your session will be.

When your session is confirmed, you will receive a follow-up email with details and a Zoom link (if applicable). Unless otherwise noted, all in-person sessions will take place in 151 Coates Hall.

Note: If you have accessibility challenges when scheduling an appointment through WCOnline, please give us a call at 225-578-7656 so we can assist you.

We're excited that you're interested in joining the undergraduate team! Hiring typically takes place over the summer in preparation for the upcoming academic year.
