CxC's Curriculum Vitae
Since launching in 2005, the CxC team has paved the way for multimodal communications across disciplines. There are three significant strands evident in this work including (1) the role of multimodal communication in learning, (2) pedagogy and instruction using these various modes of communication, and (3) disciplinary voice in communication. Collectively, the CxC team has over 166 years of experience in higher education and teaching, holds 18 advanced degrees, and has taught more than 106 C-I course sections.
Today, LSU CxC remains one of the few holistic programs offering multimodal communication skills development within all undergraduate majors. More than 15,000 students experience Communication-Intensive teaching and learning each year, led by an average of 300 faculty members across disciplines.
